New Fixed Income Sales Head At Vontobel

Switzerland’s Vontobel Asset Management has appointed Adrian Spring as head of fixed income sales for Switzerland.

Spring has over 15 years of experience in the Swiss investment fund market and was previously head of sales for investment funds and insurance products, as well as key account manager of wholesale funds, at Swisscanto.

According to a statement from the firm, he then joined Clariden Leu as deputy head of sales for financial institutions within its asset management business.

In other recent developments at the Vontobel group, last month the firm beefed up its multi-asset class investment unit with two hires. Alan Zlatar joined as deputy head of group investment strategy and head of multi-asset investments, while Arpad Pongracz has taken charge of a newly-formed unit called outcome driven investments.

Vontobel Asset Management has around SFr50 billion (about $52 billion) in assets under management. As of 31 December, the Vontobel group held SFr132 billion in assets.
